Fantastic!

Alright so I've been watching Doctor Who, Series one, with Christopher Eccelston. It's definitely not as engaging as the 10th and 11th Doctor. 9 is just, well, sort of, mean. Humans are apes and he wants to destroy the last remaining Dalek with no remorse. I don't know, it was very "Doctor."

Rose so far has been very Dawn, from BtVS. Oh look she's in trouble and needs to be rescued, or oh look she messed up and now the world might end because of it. Yeah. Ugh.

And at the moment, Captain Jack Harkness is being introduced and I would probably have NOT rejected his advances. That's all I'll say. He's a smooth criminal fer sure.

Anyways, I'm mostly just trying to get through these episodes so I can watch 10's episodes in order so things will make more sense. Moving right along.

Also, I bought a few DW audiobooks and so far, they're wonderful. Narrated by Mister Tennant himself no less. Lovely. So far, I've listened to The Resurrection Casket. Neat little twist in the end.

On the anime front, I've got one more episode of Tower of Druaga: Aegis of Uruk and then I can start ToW: Sword of Uruk, or whatever it's called. Few days ago, I watched the first episode of Black Butler with boyfriend and he seemed to genuinely enjoy it, so we're gonn watch Season 1, Part 1 when he gets back from LA. I also finished Baccano! and the second half of Hetalia: Axis Powers.

Baccano! was a damn good show, though they could have done without the last 3 or so episodes. When you end an episode with the song and the credits but still dialoging like it's a real ending and then going on like it wasn't the end isn't cool. I didn't need to see the Rail Tracer propose and follow through with it with that mute French girl or see that crazy blond guy with the huge monkey wrench. IDEK. I love Firo and Ennis and Maiza and Czes, but most of all Isaac and Miria. Fabulous characters.

Hetalia is just fabulous no matter what. The language is more foul in English I think but I love it. But also, the voice actor commentaries on a few of the episodes makes it worthwhile. Absolutely fabulous.

I might as well comment of Tower of Druaga. I love the voice cast, most definitely. I could listen to Todd Haberkorn and Travis Willingham all day. And Neeba is a hottie but he hallucinates and speaks to this glowy blue girl which is too reminiscent of Bella Swan in her New Moon days, as @Eviey pointed out to me today. Gorgeous but damaged, that's always the way.

Okay, long post is long. Time to go. Still watch Doctor Who [The Doctor Dances], still moving right along. Keep on keeping on my friends [you know, prolly just me :P]
